Space is very important! Physical space definitely plays a huge role and has a greater impact on the entire learning process. This also awakens an interest to learn more! It stimulates new ideas and enhances creativity. More than anything else, children just love having space that they can call their own!

Let’s help you create one. Here we go…

Step 1 - Select a place

Select a cozy, comfortable, well lit and ventilated space in your house. Let’s select a place where there would be fewer movements. This will ensure focus and attention.

If you have a full room, great. If you do not have one, do not worry! A corner of a room will also do!

Step 2 - Remove Distractions

Make sure the space is distraction-free, yes, this includes all the digital gadgets. Let the technology not intrude on our little enquiring minds. Promise yourself that you will not bring in your mobile phones and gadgets to this space. This space is for exploration and learning!

Step 3 - Decorate!

To make it aesthetically appealing, and more child-friendly, you can arrange your child’s toys, games, colorful storybooks, and of course, do not forget their favorite cuddly teddy bears and dolls. Make it interesting! You can have your child pick his/her favorite things for space as well!

Step 4 - Have some greens!

What is more soothing than having some greens around! You can have small green plants in this space for that soothing vibe! A positive environment fosters positive learning, leading to wonderful learning outcomes. Children would love working in this environment.
